Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you service?
We serve Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area (up to 25 miles surrounding the city). Any area outside of our range may be serviced for an additional fee.
Can I customize the activities?
Please note that although we try to meet our client’s wishes, we cannot deviate too much from our normal routine as it takes a lot of prep time and additional cost. If you would like to modify the activities that we currently provide, please let us know and we will do our best to accomodate you.
Is there a travel fee?
There is no travel fee if you are within our service area, although if you are outside of our coverage, there will be a $35 fee.

Can I request a specific performer?
Absolutely! However, while we will take all performer requests into consideration, we cannot guarantee a specific performer due to circumstances beyond our control. We also reserve the right to change performers due to business considerations. Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for all of our clients so if your scheduled performer is not able to make it, we will do our best in replacing him or her with another performer.
Could I request additional time?
Our performances start at 30 minutes and are $50 per character, per additional half hour. When booking your performer, please let the coordinator know if you would like to have the entertainer stay for longer than the original package time, so that we can schedule accordingly. Additional time is suggested if your guest count exceeds 15.
Do you do birthdays at the park or outdoors?
Yes! However, remember that our performers are in costumes, so if becomes too hot or too cold, performer could be at a health risk. If park is soiled from a recent rain fall we run the risk of ruining costly wardrobe, this could also be a factor in an outdoor event. At park parties, please make sure that there is plenty of cool shade for the performer since they are wearing heavy costumes. The area must be grassy and free of thorny bushes, mud, or standing water.
What if I have to cancel?
Our retainer is meant to reserve your event on your day, so we won’t be able to issue a refund. But, If you are needing to cancel or reschedule, we will issue you a “Rain Check” voucher that will enable you to reschedule your performer so long as we have an open date available, but please be sure to contact us as soon as you have new dates set, to make sure we are available on that day. A second option, is to use your voucher for video messages! Check out our Video Messages page for a few ideas for your loved one!
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, money orders, checks and cash of course! There will be a $35 fee for all returned checks.
How many children can you entertain?
In order to give each child the attention they deserve, we suggest that you have up to 15 children per performer. If you plan on having more than 15 guests, we suggest you either hire another entertainer, add on additional time or eliminate a time consuming activity such as face painting.

Do I have to tip my performer?
We all love being appreciated for our time and efforts! But there is no need to tip our performers. Although if you feel they did an exceptional job, feel free to show them your support!

Terms & Agreements

Most of our performers are education majors. Specifically chosen because of their talent and because it is their life’s goal to work with children, and to encourage and inspire them to grow. Treat them with the utmost respect, deserving to any individual who is dedicating their time to your children and event. Please be sure all guests and attendees are aware to be kind and attentive.

If performer feels disrespected or harassed, we reserve the right to terminate the show and leave immediately. If performer leaves because of being disrespected or harassed, there will no refund. We do our best to ensure our performers are safe and well taken care of, and we appreciate you doing the same.
